about us

“To facilitate the youth through Islamic, National Curriculum and spiritual education transforming them into healthy and worthwhile citizens of this world”

The Salvation Youth Trust is a British charity, founded by Dr Hafiz Saleem (formerly a Professor from Pakistan), working for the welfare of the youth in particular Muslim to provide spiritual, educational, leisure and social rapport to save their high qualities in order to become healthy and sought after citizens of human society at large!

We are clearly focused on the youth of Asian Ethnic background to bring them forth into the mainstream education of Britain. As well as facilitating them in education according to the national curriculum, we provide them the real exposure to the rich religious teachings of Islam providing moral and social values, strengthening them to become true Muslims in faith and practice, saving them from deviating from the real philosophy of Islam which is most importantly to respect others and their religion and to live as peaceful and civilised citizens of the community. SYT will persevere to work for economic and social development by working with local communities.

Our overall objectives are as follows:

  • To advance the true Islamic religion
  • To advance education, in particular but not exclusively for young Muslims
  • To promote religious harmony for the benefit of the public, in particular but not exclusively by holding lectures and seminars for all faith communities
  • To help and educate young people, particularly young Muslims, through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society
  • To relieve financial need and suffering among victims of natural or other kinds of disaster in the form of money (or other means deemed suitable) for persons, bodies, organisations and/or countries affected
